About the event

Uncover the incredible history of the wheeler dealer who founded the Kansas City, Mexico & Orient Railway Line and had the depot built in San Angelo. Get a front row seat to the museum’s exciting play about the vivid dreams of the entrepreneur, the struggle to get the depot built in San Angelo instead of Sweetwater, and the wild story of how Stilwell’s dream of steam never materialized.

Mary Alice Smith created posters about Santa’s Santa Fe Christmas and passed them out. She also helped decorate the museum and the photo areas. She drove Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch to their rendezvous with the train—then rode the train with them. She helped stabilize the wild line at the little Choo Choo train.
